The Canon Speedlite 270EX II is an enhanced flash designed for users of Canon’s EOS and PowerShot ranges. The Speedlite 270EX II is a replacement unit to the popular Speedlite 270EX and now includes a built in remote camera trigger and can be used as a slave unit in Canon’s wireless flash system. Weighing just 155g (without batteries) and it’s compact design means it will find a space even in the smallest of kit bags. Despite the diminutive size, the Speedlite 270EX II has plenty of power, with a guide number of 27 (m, ISO100) allowing long-range flash photography. E-TTL II metering with compatible cameras gives accurate flash exposure in all situations, even when bouncing light from a wall or ceiling.
A refined, lightweight flashgun with power and capabilities that belie its compact frame, Canon’s Speedlite 430EX III-RT improves on prior models with an enlarged display screen, simplified controls and the introduction of radio-based wireless TTL – previously the remit of the much higher priced 600EX-RT. The 430EX III-RT also boasts optical triggering, a guide number of 43 with 24-105mm coverage, movable head with integral reflecting panel and a 3.2s cycle time. All in all, on or off camera the 430EX III-RT is a wonderfully capable tool: Brilliant for portraiture, enormously cost-effective and packed full of photo-making possibilities.
The Canon Speedlite 470EX AI is a powerful mid-range flashgun for taking professionally-lit portraits on the go. Its Auto Intelligent (AI) bounce feature automatically adjusts to work out the optimum bounce position to eliminate unwanted shadows for beautifully lit and natural-looking results. It has a max. guide no. of 47m, a wide coverage from 24-105mm and a built-in wireless receiver.
Engineered for fast frame-rate shooting, the Canon Speedlite 600EX II-RT improves on the older 600EX model with faster continuous firing and up to 50% more flashes during high framerate shooting. Use it off-camera or in the hotshoe, the 600EX II-RT is extremely versatile and offers wireless shooting via radio and optical transmission, and performs in the most demanding situations, making it an ideal companion for the EOS-1D X Mark II. The unit features a 60 (m, ISO 100) guide number and recycles silently in as little as 3.3s, and the optional CP-E4N battery pack shortens this time even further.
Easily add light to indoor and outdoor shots with the Canon Speedlite EL-100 – providing more power than a built-in flash and a simple mode dial to make it easy to set up and use. The horizontal and vertical bounce capability gives brighter, yet flattering results indoors and lets you light creatively.
