Advanced Image Quality
The Fujifilm XF Lens consists of 16 elements in 12 groups, including three aspherical lens elements and one ED aspherical lens. In order to reduce field curvature and spherical aberration the aspherical lens elements are controlled at high precision. This results in an advanced level of image sharpness across the frame. Aberration fluctuation is suppressed thanks to image stabilisation provided by utilising an ED aspherical lens as an OIS lens. The Fujifilm XF lens also has a minimum focusing distance of 35 cm close-up over the entire zoom range.
Compact, lightweight and stylish design for superior operability
The compact 5x zoom lens weights just 440g and is 88.9 mm in full length. It is approximately 40% lighter than full size 5x zoom lens. Additional quality and durability is achieved thanks to the metal aspects of the exterior. The zoom, aperture and focus rings have just the right amount of torque for better handling.
Powerful OIS
The Fujifilm XF Lens has the strongest OIS performance equivalent to 6.0 CIPS-guideline standards. The camera automatically detects when it is fixed to a tripod or when panning, and adjusts itself accordingly.
Fast and Silent autofocus
The internal focus AF system drives smaller and lighter focusing elements. Fast and silent autofocus is achieved thanks to the stepping motor known for its quiet operation and accuracy.
Advanced construction
The Fujifilm XF lens is dust and weather resistant as well as being capable of operating at temperatures as low as -10C thanks to the lens barrel being sealed at 10 different locations. The users can mount the lens on weather sealed mirrorless digital cameras such as X-Pro2, X-t1, X-T2, X-T3 and X-H11 allowing them to shoot in light rain or a dusty outdoor environment without worry.
